STUDENT ENROLLMENT FOR THE 2019- 2020 SCHOOL YEAR
Please Save the Date: Kindergarten & 1st Grade Round-Up – Tuesday, Feb. 26th @ 6:00 PM
South Bay Junior Academy begins the application, admissions and enrollment process in March 2019 for the 2019-2020 school year. School begins in late August 2019 so we encourage you to start the enrollment process in the spring. We limit our class size to 25 students per grade so you will want to make sure you get a campus tour, application, testing and admissions complete so you can register your child for school before classes fill up.
Start with a phone call and schedule a campus tour. During the tour you will have an opportunity to visit the classrooms, meet teachers, walk through the campus and learn what it is like for your child to be a student at SBJA.
At the time of your campus tour you will receive the application packet. Once you have filled out the student application paperwork, we will schedule a student assessment for grade-level readiness for your child. A completed application packet includes the application, report cards, standardized test scores, two completed references and student entrance testing. (Kindergarten application only requires one reference and a pre-school review, if the student has been in pre-school.)
Once the application is complete, the student will be scheduled for an assessment with the teacher to determine grade-level fit. The principal and teachers will review the application, report cards, letters of recommendation and the results of the test and the principal will notify you of the acceptance status for your child.
Please direct inquiries, questions and scheduling a campus tour to email@example.com or call the office at
We look forward to welcoming new students to our school family.
